Some garments are effortless to wear due to their versatile color or timeless design, often earning the title of wardrobe basics. Conversely, there are pieces that many find challenging to style, whether because of their shape, color, or the need for specific complementary items. In this first post, I aim to showcase one such piece in three distinct outfits, allowing my creativity to flow and inspiring me to wear it more than just once.
For the first outfit, I was inspired by a springy 90s aesthetic. The beautiful red velvet turtleneck paired with beige boots sets the tone, and I added just a few accessories to complete the look without overwhelming it.
For the second outfit, I continued playing with red accents through the shoes and bag, then introduced green touches with the glove top and earrings to create a fresh, unexpected contrast.
And for the third outfit, I leaned into soft blue details with a blue off-shoulder blouse, denim shoes, and a matching purse. This one ended up being my favourite of the three.
