Vinyl is a remarkably versatile store, known for offering a wide range of styles while maintaining a consistently modern and sophisticated aesthetic. When it first debuted in Starplaza, Vinyl stood out for its affordable yet contemporary designs, infused with a subtle vintage allure that complemented its sister store, Pearls.
For a period, the brand introduced small capsule collections reminiscent of today’s Stardoll OOTM or Celeb Fit releases. These limited-time pieces were accessible and stylish, though the reason behind the discontinuation of this feature remains unclear.
In later years, Vinyl underwent a noticeable transformation, leaving behind its signature vinyl-inspired essence to embrace a more hipster-oriented direction. Despite these changes, several standout items remain among my personal favorites.
For the first outfit, I’m wearing one of my favourite pieces — and also one of the hardest to style — this stunning pink blazer. I paired it with a velvet skirt and a crisp white blouse to give the look a polished, formal finish.
For the second outfit, I combined a printed shirt with leather pants and matching leather shoes, creating a grunge-inspired look. Even though the shirt leans casual, I wanted to elevate it with edgier elements like the leather pieces and the neon mesh top layered underneath.
For the third outfit, I styled the grey jacket and wide-leg pants into a contemporary streetwear ensemble. With both the jacket and trousers offering an oversized silhouette, I completed the look with white sneakers and a simple belt for balance.
