Cruella de Vil has long been one of my favorite villains of all time—not only within the Disney universe. Her femininity, confidence, intelligence, and unapologetic presence have made her unforgettable. Portrayed through different eras, styles, and actresses, every interpretation has been striking in its own way. What I adore most about Cruella, however, is her fashion sensibility—she has become a true style icon. Red, white, black, and fur are the perfect palette to evoke her essence. Inspired by what she might wear, I created three outfits. She isn’t just my favorite character; her aesthetic genuinely influences my style, even in real life.
For the first outfit, I wanted to recreate a classic femme-fatale moment: a long fur coat layered over a black dress, accented with bold red details. The dark elegance and eerie glamour of the faux fur coat capture Cruella’s unmistakable aura.
For the second outfit, I chose a Robert Wun–inspired coat with sculptural extra arms, creating an artistic, haute-couture statement. Styled with deep black tones and subtle red accents, the look feels dramatic and avant-garde.
For the third outfit, I couldn’t overlook the iconic spotted motif. A black-and-white blouse is paired with a leather skirt, red heels, and a red faux-fur accent—an unmistakable nod to Cruella’s legendary style.
