Lately, I’ve started investing in male items to explore and showcase men’s outfits. Male dolls are becoming increasingly common on Stardoll, and a good stylist should be able to create compelling looks for both women and men. My male wardrobe is still quite limited and mostly made up of affordable pieces, but with smart styling—especially oversized silhouettes—it’s possible to elevate even the simplest items.
For this second post, I decided to focus on male fashion trends that I find versatile and easily adaptable, even for women. The season I’m working with is winter, despite being halfway through it.
#1 Red
Red is one of my favorite colors: bold, elegant, and powerful. When paired with black and white, it creates a timeless combination. Streetwear references show red appearing frequently, and recent winter collections confirm that both red and burgundy are dominating the season.
#2 Checkered Pattern
This pattern is both formal and incredibly versatile, especially in neutral tones like gray, light brown, and cream. It’s a recurring element in recent Ready-to-Wear collections, appearing in coats, trousers, and even shirts, proving its timeless appeal.
#3 Turtlenecks
Turtlenecks are my favorite menswear staple. They’re effortlessly elegant, practical for cold weather, and endlessly versatile. Whether worn under coats, jackets, or paired with jeans, they always add refinement and draw attention.
#4 All White
White is an ideal winter color—clean, neutral, and sophisticated. A full white outfit, in particular, conveys elegance, confidence, and a sense of quiet luxury. I love how a strong look can be achieved using just one color, relying entirely on texture and structure.
