In one part of the story I’m writing, Lilith, she and her sister attend a penthouse gathering before the opera. The atmosphere is refined yet suffocating, and Lilith feels deeply out of place—not only within the setting, but beside her sister as well. It is there, amid the tension and unfamiliar elegance, that she meets a man who is instantly drawn to her.
It’s important to note that Lilith is not drawn to all-black ensembles; she prefers color, nuance, and subtle expression. Her sister, in contrast, embraces darkness almost exclusively, favoring black in both style and presence. This visual contrast mirrors their emotional distance and sets the tone for the encounter that quietly alters Lilith’s path.
